The engagement captivated students with an insightful and interactive focus on renewable energy and sustainability, aiming to inspire the next generation of innovators and foster a deeper understanding of environmentally conscious practices.
RPC representatives delivered a compelling and interactive presentation, effectively demystifying various forms of renewable energy, including solar, wind, and hydropower. Through clear explanations, they highlighted the crucial role these technologies play in combating climate change and ensuring a sustainable future for Trinidad and Tobago.
The visit went beyond theoretical concepts, incorporating practical demonstrations and engaging activities that provided students with a tangible understanding of how these technologies work. From miniature solar setups to discussions on wind turbine mechanics, students actively participated, gaining valuable insights into the potential impact of renewable energy on Trinidad and Tobago's energy landscape.
Crucially, the discussions extended beyond just the technology, emphasizing the broader concept of sustainability and the importance of responsible resource management for a healthier planet. RPC representatives underscored the interconnectedness of energy choices with environmental stewardship, encouraging students to become active participants in building a greener future.
The S.E.T. Initiative at Debe Secondary School served as a powerful platform to educate, engage, and empower young minds.
