A Milestone for Resilience and Responsibility

3 Mar 2026

We are thrilled to announce that Renewable Power Caribbean Limited has officially joined the UN Global Compact Network Caribbean—the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

This landmark achievement was celebrated on March 3, 2026, at the Private Sector Forum: Accelerating Growth through Sustainable Business held right here in Trinidad and Tobago. This partnership marks a defining chapter in our mission to reshape the Caribbean’s energy landscape.

For Small Island Developing States (SIDS), sustainability is more than a corporate goal—it is a requirement for our survival and prosperity. By aligning our operations with the UN Global Compact’s Ten Principles, we are deepening our commitment to a resilient, ethical, and green future.

Our focus remains steadfast on four critical pillars:

  • Decarbonization: Aggressively moving away from fossil fuel dependency to champion 100% clean, homegrown energy solutions.

  • Climate Resilience: Engineering robust energy infrastructure, such as our integrated solar-powered EV charging stations, to withstand the challenges of a changing climate.

  • The Circular Economy: Protecting our delicate ecosystems through innovative Agrivoltaics, blending water conservation and waste management with renewable energy production.

  • Youth Empowerment: Scaling our School Educational Tour (SET) program to equip the next generation with the skills needed for the burgeoning green economy.

At Renewable Power Caribbean, we believe that sustainable business is the only path to long-term growth. We are ready to innovate and lead alongside a global network of change-makers.
